Veterans and Public Mixed-Use Developments

Veterans and Public Mixed-Use Developments Overview

ALSENIOR is proposing various veterans housing projects with the Board of Veterans Affairs (VA) in the states of Virginia and Maryland.  The various sites to be considered are mostly partially developed and will need upgrades and new facilities to increase the living capacities.  Some of the sites are existing military medical facilities with multiple types of treatment centers supporting various veterans’ needs.  To meet the housing shortages throughout mainland UNITED STATES, we’re prosing various independent and assisted living housing projects for those veterans wishing to stay in their perspective areas for a prolong period while continuing needed health care services.

Construction of new units will consist of either Single or Multi-Story Housing Units ranging from Efficiency to Three Bedrooms.  Each complex or facility will have attached or built-in eating and recreational units.

The ‘Assisted Living’ facilities will be multi-story buildings, some of which will be renovated from existing single family housing, and/or medical sites.  These facilities will consist of double and single occupancy units with eating and recreational units within each complex.  However, specific types of medical and psychological treatments would have to come from the VA or thru some type of partnership with a medical/health care provider.
